Hello Everyone, you might remember my Collage I shared with ideas for our sons bedroom some time back? Well last month his room finally got some new paint and new bookshelves. I also hung new curtains and he got a BIG Queen size bed to grow into. The room is not finished yet, but I do want to share the changes we've made so far.
I am on the look-out for a new side table and finishing touches.

The curtain is RITVA from IKEA I just looped a rope around it,
just like I did in our Living and Dining Room
I know a queen size bed is big for a 9 year old, but it works out super great for sleep-overs as well.
He has a playroom, so he never plays in his bedroom anyways

The bookshelves are LIATORP from IKEA
We badly needed more storage for his giant GODZILLA COLLECTION
and Sharks....

What a wonderful space for your little man, Christine!! I LOVE the wall colors you chose! Great idea on the queen size bed too! Id nothing else-he has plenty of room to spread out all of his Godzilla's!! LOL!! Have a great weekend! Hugs, CD!
ReplyDeleteOh I just LOVE it! His room looks so much bigger with a bigger bed (I know what sounds weird, but it does.) I love the bookcases lined on the wall showcasing his collection too. I bet he loves his new bigger bed! That was money well spent. We still need to redo my 13 yr olds room. It's next on "the list". LOL! Doesn't everyone have a list? Btw, I know you already link to a lot of parties, but if you're interested, I co host a party every Wed night called Share Your Style. Me and 7 other bloggers host it so you link up to one of us and it shows up on all 8 blogs. Just thought I'd tell you about that if you're interested.
