Nature Inspired Outdoor Christmas Decorations from Little Brags
Hello guys, it's been a bit quiet on the blog and I have not been able to reply to
comments as well and fast as I normally like to.
I have been busy doing a Live Christmas Tour for Hometalk this Tuesday.
You can watch it here if you would like to. Meanwhile I also took a bunch of pics
of our house decorated for Christmas and Winter. Since there are a lot of pics,
I will post them in stages. Today I am sharing my outdoor Christmas/Winter
pics with you and hope that you will find some inspiration here.
Ok peeps, lets get going....
Here is a little corner of the back patio, I decorated the spool table
with mostly nature such as fresh moss, greens, branches and heather
plants....Can you tell I am into the Scandinavian look!

Wintery Decor On The Back Patio
Hello and Happy New Year peeps!!! Today I am sharing a little corner in our backyard
with you, all decked out in winter décor. This year we got our Christmas tree kind
of late (8 days before Christmas), so when it was time to get rid of the tree, it still
looked so beautiful and fresh. So when we took it down, we cut off all the branches
and saved them for some winter décor outside.
with tons of branches.

A Lantern Make Over And Our Back Porch
Hello and Happy Weekend Everyone. I've been feeling the spring fever lately! Last Sunday I pressure-washed our back yard patios, and now I am working on making it cozy back there. The first step is done....I had these 2 huge brown Lanterns that I grew tired of, so I spray painted them a light grey. After they dried, I rubbed some white acrylic paint on them to give them a bit of a white wash look.

Moss Lovin on the Front Porch
Hello and Happy Weekend Everyone....After I took down all Christmas Decorations this winter, I just kind of let the front porch go for a while. Everything was BLAH and uninviting looking out there. Today I finally got to it . I was shooting for a "Wintery" look with moss accents. Soon I will have to change everything again for Spring and Easter...LOL...

Decorating with a Grain Sack
A while back I found an old grain sack at my favorite store. I've been thinking about what to do with it for a while now. Well, I think I finally had a good idea.

Wrought Iron Staircase Dreaming and a Lantern
Hello Peeps, I have been thinking/dreaming about re-doing our staircase for a while now. Our stairway is the first thing you see when you enter. Here is a picture I took today
My biggest complaint are the white wooden support railings. They actually come off all the time. We've had a Handy man come over more than once to fix it. Can you believe that they are installed with a staple gun???? Isn't that ridiculous? I also don't like the pine wood on a staircase, since it is a really soft wood and dents really easy in such a heavy traffic area.

A Cheap New Marshall's Lantern
Oops, I did it again...
Remember when I spray-painted 2 Lanters I got from Ross a while back? If you missed that post you can check it out here Lantern Transformation. Well I found yet another pretty lantern on "Clearance" at Marshalls, it's good sized and it was only 20 Dollars.

Lantern Transformation
I have been wanting a couple of large lanterns for a while, but seems like the really big ones are well over $100 each. Last weekend at Ross I found these UGLY Arabian style lanterns. I got both of them for $60. I hated the shiny silver tops but really liked the shape. So I figured for that price, I'd give them a coat of Spraypaint!
