A Little Spring Fever

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Today happened to be a very nice day in the Pacific Northwest. I felt like Spring is finally coming for the first time this year. I picked up my first Spring Flowers this weekend and today I had a little time to give my porch the first little TOUCH OF SPRING!
I found this cute litte Lantern at Target a few weeks ago on Clearance for 8 Dollars. Can't go wrong with Lanterns. I added some flowers and some moss I had growing in the gaps of the sidewalk.

Old buckets are my favorite potting containers.
Here is the front door, I need to update to a springy wreath
Here are a couple of old crates I made into a SHOE PARKING GARAGE for all the kiddos coming and going in and out of the house.
Had to add moss to these flowers here to....I just love it!

This is an old colander I hung on my fence gate with some flowers and moss.
and our Newfie Brucie had to get into at least one of the pics too....He was enjoying the sunshine while watching all the kidlets play.
Happy Spring everyone!!! More to come...I will make sure to include a real rabbit next time!
Christine

  1. It is really starting to look like Spring at your house. I love those beautiful flowers you planted. It has been so cold here, that I'm afraid flowers would just die here if I planted them. I'm waiting until it warms up to do that. We did manage to work in the yard doing some cleaning up of sticks etc. I was savoring the sunshine even though it was cold and windy. We've had so many gloomy days lately that I was willing to suffer in the cold just to be in the sun. LOL! Looking forward to seeing your rabbit. Do you have a new pet?

    1. Hi Kelly, no new pet, we've had a bunny for a couple of years now....well he is Robbie's...I totally meant to take pics of him yesterday afternoon and when I came home from running to the store for a half an hour Bruce had a diaherra accident in the house. He stole Robbie's breakfast (a big roll with NUTELLA spread) earlier that morning and since he is an old dog his tummy coudn't take it. He was inside the house and coudn't get out....so you can imagine the mess of a 185 pound dog having an accident ON THE CARPET...argggg... I had to get the Hoover out and shampoo the carpet. Ended up taking a couple of hours start to finish so I ran out of time for my photo session with the Bun Bun...lol....oh well the joy of having pets...I survived!
