A Potting Bench Make Over

Hello Sweets, today I am want to share my new Potting Bench with you. My friend Jill gave me her old Potting Bench which she had sitting in her garage for several years without ever using it.

I gave it a natural stain and dressed it up
and I attached some cute little hooks to the sides to dress it up

and as an added bonus I can use the potting bench for brushing our little Bunny ...Bugsy is less thrilled. .LOL
A quick BEFORE and AFTER picture before you leave
By the way, Jill if you are reading this...NO you can not have it back...LOL. But you have unlimited visitation rights.

  1. I love this! You are so lucky to be able to put things like this outside. I reckon it would last a couple of weeks here and be soggy and yuk! Your bunny has the perfect place to be groomed now. Have a wonderful week. xx

  6. I need a friend like Jill! How nice was that? I love how you used it. It looks so nice and, like you said, will serve a purpose too. I have a potting bench/work bench in the garage that I let my 19 yr old use for his "car stuff". Maybe one day, I should transform it like you did yours!

  7. Good Afternoon Christine, Yes, I can see why your friend would like her little potting bench back, as you have made a lovely job of transforming it.
I think Bugsy will get used to his new grooming station..... he just needs a little time to get used to his new surroundings.
    Have a lovely Sunday.

    2. Christine, your potting bench is exactly the style I would like to make. Do you have plans and dimensions of the wood? Did you make the candle holder that is hung above the bench? If so, how did you make it? Thank you.

      Delete
    3. Hi Judy, not sure if you will receive this reply since you came up as a non reply blogger in my messages. I did not make the candle holder myself. It is actually an old large shingle that was made into a candle holder. I got it in Germany. I do not have plans or dimensions for the bench, it was given to me by a friend, and I just stained it and dressed it up...sorry!!! Thanks for visiting
