Pillow Talk

Hi everyone and I hope you all are enjoying a well deserved 3 day Memorial Day Weekend! I am excited to share my new pillows for the Family Room today. It took me a while to find just what I had in mind. Thanks to Pamela Joyce Designs on Etsy I found them
I love the contrast from the white pillows, and the red stripes compliment my ginger red wall

Pam did a wonderful job making these custom sized pillows for me. Make sure to visit Pam's Etsy Store . She will custom make whatever your heart desires! I am thrilled to have found her.
The side tables,  lamps and wall art are from World Market
I also purchased some burlap striped ribbon and wrapped it around the lamps to match the pillows. I am not sure if I like it yet, or if it's OVERKILL? LOL....well for now it stays on!
While shopping at World Market today I saw this cute "Bucket Cooler" on a raised stand to keep drinks cold. Well, I am using it for quite another purpose......
 Our Senior Newfoundland Bruce has severe Arthritis in his shoulders and really needs to not bend over anymore while eating. His dog dish fit's right into the large bucket. I placed some heavy rocks in there to keep it from sliding. 

 Now he is dining in STYLE....For a dog his size I would have ended up ordering a custom raised table, this was way cheaper and cuter!!! By the way our "Big Papa Bear" turned 11 years old this week.

    Oh, Christine, I love your new pillows. Your room is so inviting, which I lived closer as I'd love to come visit! By the way, I really like the ribbon on the lampshades - great complement to the pillows. It ties it all in. Keep inspiring us.

    Wow! I just love your new pillows!!!! They really do look just like the inspiration picture too. They soften your sofa and give it instant style. I'll have to go check out that Etsy shop. She does good work! I like the trim added to your lamp shades. I don't think it's overkill. You are so clever to think of that beverage stand as a dog feeder for your dog. He is tall and I can see that that stand works perfectly for him. Good thinking!

    The pillows look great with the coordinating lamp addition you created.
    I am still in search of pillows for our living quarters as well...who knew pillows could be that difficult to find...or I should say,to go with what we have in our L/R... Your decor looks very nice...

    Your dog is precious. Do you know about the book Lewis and Clark and Me by Laurie Myers? It is told from the Newfoundland Hound's point of view. :)

    Really love the pillows. Did you leave the ribbon on the shades? I also love the idea of the water dish for your beautiful dog. Our dog is so tall that this would be perfect for him. I also love the art panels. Wish you had a close up of that. :)

      Hi Donna, so far I left the ribbon on the shades. Do you like that? I am still debating on maybe just wrapping plain burlap around them instead....I will take a close up of my art panels and email it to you ok??? They are from Worldmarket...do you have one in Canada???
