I've had this old door/gate in my garage for years. Occasionally I brought it out and used it as a back drop for picture taking....I have seen so many awesome ideas on Pinterest on how to use old doors, windows and shutters for the inside. So it was time to bring it in! Here it is in our Guest Room.
What do you think?
The door really needs to be raised a bit, but it weighs a ton, so that will have to be another project on another day.
For more awesome ideas on how do decorate with old rubbish doors/shutters/windows you can follow my board on Pinterest. Here is the link!
Hope to see you back soon and please leave me your comments! I love to hear from you.
I love how unique that looks! I really love the wicker trunk being used as a bedside table too! The rustic gate and the trunk compliment each other well.

DeleteIf you’re aiming a western or country feel to your house, I'm pretty sure that barn doors would fit in very well to it. Adding that door to your bedroom gave a different twist to the usual design decorations inside the house. I'm really impressed on what you did! Congratulations! :)
