Hello friends, unfortunately I don't have any new fun projects to show off this week. But here is what I have been working on today.....MY MESSY OFFICE!
You know, the bad thing about having a room all to yourself is that you keep throwing everything in it and shut the door behind you (well, at least I do)
Pretty bad, uhhhhh?
CLEARLY, I HAVE NO SHAME!
but here we are, just about an hour later.....
but here we are, just about an hour later.....
Soooo much better (but no opening the closet door, ok?)
I think even "Willie" the tortoise is happier, he has a much better view now ....lol
A quick BEFORE and AFTER....
That's all I got sweets.....my good deed for the day. Hopefully I will have something more creative to share next week!!!!
Christine

DeleteI know you must feel worlds better now with it clean and organized. I love that feeling! Your turtle is so cute! You've got a lot of cute pets at your house.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much Melissa
DeleteHey Holly, I am always way behind too...organizing is not something I enjoy!!!
ReplyDeleteYour room looks great! I am off the whole week after Thanksgiving. Perhaps I will try to tackle my room too! Thank you for sharing! http://www.lastrawberryadventures.com
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit Julie, have a very happy Thanksgiving
DeleteLooks great, Christine! I love your armoire with the fold out shelf! That's exactly what I need for my craft/guest room so I can hide everything when someone comes to stay with us! Thanks so much for linking up at Share Your Stuff Tuesdays!
ReplyDeleteHi Emily, the armoire was from Ikea a long time ago..but they still have one just like this but in black I believe.....it does not take up too much room, which is great. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving Emily!
DeleteI am right there with you Christine! Except I am working on 3 spaces as I am shifting things around. I hope to have at least one presentable very soon. Your room looks great! What a nice space to work in.
ReplyDeleteYeah I hear ya...when I run out of room in my craft room, I start to throw things onto the bed in the guest room...LOL....
DeleteI had to laugh and give you praise....if I showed how my guest room and dining room are looking right now, people would run screaming. LOL You have a great work space, love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine, so thrilled to hear I am not the only one with a dis-order like this...LOL.....I am still waiting for my beautiful sign I won, I should receive it any day now!!!!
DeleteI'm impressed! Maybe you could come over and work that magic on my basement...? :)
ReplyDeleteSusan
get me a plane ticket and I might just do that...LOL....Have a very Happy thanksgiving Susan
DeleteYour post on cleaning up your workspace brought a smile to my face, as I also face the same guilt pangs at my end. Thanks for sharing and allowing me to get inspired for doing up my study too. I am your newest follower , do drop a while at mine.
ReplyDeleteCheers

DeleteYour room looks great! I think I need to have you over to help me organize my craft room : )
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the comment luv.....opening the closet door is still UN-SAVE around here...lol
DeleteI sooooo am in need of a day like this! I need my own space to create too. I use my kitchen table.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie!!!!! you must be at your kitchen table a lot.....being that you come up with all these wonderful crafts each week!
DeleteI have been doing the same thing to my closets! Once you start you just keep going. Thank you for sharing it on our Four Seasons Blog Hop. Pinning now.
ReplyDeleteTHanks Shawna!!!!
DeleteHi Christine,
ReplyDeleteMy catch all room was formerly my daughter's bedroom and she can't believe what I've done with the place (tongue in cheek).
Your workspace cupboard and matching storage are very nice. Are they custom made?
HI Gayle, oh no the cupboard is from Ikea and so is the matching filing cabinet...it's nothing special but I like the narrow size of it, because it does not take up a lot of space in the room!!! Thanks for stopping by
DeleteIt tidied up so nicely. Really a great space! I have my own space downstairs, but my catch all seems to be my laundry room. If I am in a hurry or don't quite know to put something it ends up there. I have to give it a good cleaning as soon as the Christmas décor is finished. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
Thanks Jann, I am so thrilled to hear everyones confessions....lol...seems I am not the only one with a hoarding problem!
DeleteI love what you did. Thank you so much for sharing with Wednesday's Adorned From Above Link Party. Have a great week.

Organization is a GREAT project to share! And I have one of those rooms with all my craft stuff in it...with the door currently closed because you can't even walk in there... No tortoise, though, at least not on purpose! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to Twirl & Take a Bow last week. Hope you'll join us again this week!
