Hello Loves, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I decorated
our porch for Fall/Halloween this weekend. FINALLY, I am
always so behind!!!! This year I wanted to decorate with as much
"natural things" as possible and less store-bought Décor.
our porch for Fall/Halloween this weekend. FINALLY, I am
always so behind!!!! This year I wanted to decorate with as much
"natural things" as possible and less store-bought Décor.
When I say natural things, I mean pumpkins,
hay, fall plants, branches, etc....
The wooden arrow that is sitting in the crate is a 50% off steal
from Home Goods!!! It lights up and looks so cool at night.
I had a piece of scrap wood in the garage, I painted it with black chalk
paint and drew this witch hat on it that I saw over at Twelve On Main the
other day....LUV IT

I had some terra cotta colored spray paint left over from last month
Project Challenge and simply used it on these cardboard letters
I picked up at JoAnnes Fabrics
I then put some tiny polka dots on them by dipping a toothpick into acrylic paint
It was raining buckets in the Pacific NW yesterday,
so more outdoor pics later.....

ReplyDeleteAww what a sweet and cozy porch display. I love how you put little dots on your boo letters. It's the details that matter. I also like the little hats on the chalkboard sign. So adorable.
ReplyDeleteIt turned out so cute. I love how creative you were. I had to laugh.. I too was behind on the fall decorating. Feels good to have that done, though
ReplyDeleteHi there Thrifty to Nifty and thank you for leaving me a sweet reply . I tried to reply to your comment directly but you came up as a non reply blogger, so I hope you get my reply here

Your "less is more" decorated porch looks wonderful! Great blackboard with witch's hat and love the BOO letters!
ReplyDeleteLiebe Christine,
ReplyDeletewow - toll dekoriert !!!
Petra

Your porch decorations are always inspirational! I will be looking in my husband's workshop and in the shed for pieces of wood to make a sign for our porch. Today it's raining in buckets here in Michigan, no outside decorating today!
