A SIMPLE Little Christmas Tour

I promised you "inside" Christmas pictures in my last post.
If I don't hurry, Christmas will be over and done with!

So let's get right to it, welcome to our entry

I purchased a bunch of STRALA stars from IKEA this year
and wanted them to be the main focus of our Christmas Decor

I wrapped some pretty Christmas Ball String Lights around some branches

The stars have such an impact and add such warmth to the space,
that I kept all else simple

I tried to get some good photos in the twilight showing the beautiful glowing stars, but taking photos against a window never works for me

Here is our Family Room, just a hint of Christmas. I am so tired of the
red accent wall. Time for me to get out some paint!

I found these grey pillows at IKEA a couple of weeks ago, perfect for the winter

Simple, simple decor this year....

Again, I wanted my stars to be the main focus throughout

Here is our wintery kitchen table

A wall in the kitchen

The formal dining room is also decked out with IKEA stars,
not much else needed

Here is our little mudroom, you might recognize the deer art I crafted recently?
Well, that is it for now, I will take some more pics of our kitchen and hopefully manage to share them before Christmas is over......thanks to all of you for coming to visit me each week!!!!
Merry Christmas!!!!

  1. Christine- I love those stars! Everything is quietly and beautifully festive.
Don't you wish you could just hop into a monitor and REALLY see the beautiful of some things? It is so difficult to capture the mood some things create (such as your pretty stars all a'glow) but because we all have that photographic curse - I can FEEL your beautiful spaces perfectly! : - )

I am so far behind I may never catch up - went back to choir this year and it is amazing how entertaining and singing takes all my time up. Not a complaint, just an explaination!

    I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas! : - )
