We just got back from a little vacation last night to see my
In-Laws in Arizona. One thing I always love to do down here
is visit furnished model homes, since they have so many of them.
So without further chatting, here are some of my faves

We did the same when visiting near Phoenix at Christmas. When myself or my son's mother-in-law commented on something special, my daughter-in-law would quietly chime in with 'upgrade' meaning it didn't come in the basic package. Now when I make a change here, I text her with 'upgrade'.

This was so much fun to see, Christine! My hubby and I are considering retirement outside of Phoenix. I am pleasantly surprised to see so many wood floors in these homes instead of tile, and I just love those beamed ceilings! I could get used to those views, too.

ReplyDeleteWow, which one do we want? Love the scenery. Were you in Phoenix? I lived in Tucson for 20 yrs. then we moved to San Diego area after hubs got out of Air Force. We had moved to Co. springs after he got out but went back to Tucson for year or so then to San Diego area. There are things I definitely miss about Tucson but not intense heat of summer months.It's hot enuf here in Grand Junction area, we live few miles west of G.J.
ReplyDeleteThat was such fantastic tour of those homes. As other commentors said you take awesome photos. What's not to like huh?
Now all we need to do is hit lottery.
Last year we were going to move back to Tucson where hubs/I met many years ago but our house was upside down, bummer, even had buyer. Too hot in Tucson anyway but do have good friend there and some relatives. Our two youngest kids live here and oldest son lives in San Diego area so moving to Tucson would have been nice, get to see son/his boys when they visit in summer from KY. Only few hours from Tucson to San Diego.
When my Mom was doing really badly after her heart surgery many years ago I would drive to Tucson to see her after I got off work on Fridays in San Diego. Then I'd drive back to S.D. on Sunday afternoon. I did that for several weeks til she was put in convalescent home. Later on we moved her to San Diego area.
Really enjoyed your awesome tour. Makes me lonesome for AZ. Have great week

DeleteI loved going to look at model homes when we were looking for a new home. Seeing a wide variety of styles always gave me decoration inspiration. There are some model homes open just a few miles down the freeway so you may have inspired me to go check them out!
