Decorating for a COZY Halloween

Well HELLO there and Happy Halloweenie everyone. I have been posting way more

 on INSTAGRAM than my blog this past year, so it almost feels kinda weird writing a blog post.

 

Let's see if I remember how to do this.....

Come on into our kitchen nook all decorated for Halloween, our 14 year old
is having a few friends over for a little Halloween party this week,
so I had to decorate at least a little bit downstairs. 

Actually I think this area ended up looking more cozy than scary...lol

I love using cheese cloth for Halloween, it's not expansive and you can cover virtually everything with it.

And why not use icicle lights for Halloween?

All the pumpkins and lights will stay until after ThanksGiving.

I also made this pumpkin, I didn't feel like carving much so I came up with this instead. 

I had all the stuff (skeletons, mini hay-bale and string-lights) on hand. 

Again, I think this turned out cuter than scary....clearly I need to work on that.
